GetDrop upgrades let you improve your CS2 inventory in a few steps: choose one of your skins, select a target item, and start an attempt. Before you begin, you can see the chance, the value of your selected items, and how the upgrade works.

If the target skin is worth more than your item, your chance is lower. The closer the item values are, the higher the chance of a successful upgrade. You can add balance to increase your side's total value and improve your chance.

What is a CS2 skin upgrade?

An upgrade is an attempt to exchange one or more items for a more valuable skin. Add items on the left and choose a target on the right; the system calculates your chance based on their values. This lets you aim for a specific item instead of opening a random case.

The upgrade page keeps your choices in view: selected items, target skin, chance, total value, and extra settings. Before starting, you can change items, choose another target, add balance, or use a quick chance preset.

How does upgrading work on GetDrop?

First choose an item from My inventory. Then pick the site item you want in Choose a skin. GetDrop compares both sides and shows your upgrade chance. The more valuable the target is compared with your item, the riskier the attempt.

Balance can be added to your stake to increase its total value and your chance. Fast Mode only changes the animation speed; it does not affect the upgrade result.

What happens after the result?

If the upgrade succeeds, the target skin is added to your inventory. If it fails, the items used in the attempt are consumed. Check your selected items, total value, and the chance shown on the wheel before starting.

When should you use an upgrade?

Use upgrades when you want to trade an item for a specific, more valuable skin, raise your inventory value, or build a collection. For a steadier attempt, choose items with similar values; for more risk, choose a target well above your current value.
